Please join us, along with the Lincoln and Continental Owner’s Club and the Earl C. Anthony Region Packard Club, on Sunday, March 15, for a tour of a rarely seen private collection of cars, motorcycles, and memorabilia.
Our host has very eclectic tastes and you will see some beautiful classics like a Packard from the ‘30s or vintage ‘50s and ’60 American cars, sports cars, motorcycles, and auto related items. Expect to see two or three Rolls-Royces, Corvettes, American luxury cars, maybe a hot rod or a period customized Merc, a VW split windshield Microbus, a Ferrari Daytona, a jukebox, an Eldorado Brougham, a vintage coke machine, and of course, a real piano. The common denominator is that they are all beautifully restored. You may catch yourself exclaiming, “Oh, I remember those!”
We’ll meet at Kip’s building “Ocean Properties Inc.,” at 10:00 a.m. and start with the usual coffee and pastries. After the tour of Kip’s garage, we will head to the nearby Red Table restaurant for lunch at noon - a fun place with what has been described as “a fresh take on comfort food in Huntington Beach.”
Lunch will be optional and on your own, choosing from a menu of popular selections.
TIME & PLACE 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The address is 5452 Oceanus Dr, Huntington Beach. The building says “Ocean Properties.” We will head to the restaurant at 11:30 a.m.
