“Harley, Cadillac and Me” Presentation and Flying A Garage Tour

We have a rare opportunity to visit a prestigious collection of automobiles with associated automobilia coupled with a presentation about automotive pioneer and General Motors designer Harley Earl, including the journey of passion by one of our own SoCal members. We will welcome the Cadillac LaSalle Club, Lincoln and Continental Owners Club, Earl C. Anthony Region Packard Club and Rolls-Royce Owners Club joining us for the tour.

“Harley, Cadillac and Me” – member and noted historian Richard Stanley will provide introduction and background illustrating Harley Earl’s life, designs and influence, followed by a premiere presentation and preview documenting his passion for Cadillac – the re-creation of a 1938 Cadillac 60 Special convertible sedan. GM Styling designed and built two of these cars in 1938 as prototypes, neither of which survive today. Richard’s research, attention to detail and historical accuracy has led him on a 30-year adventure nearing completion with this one-of-a-kind special commission to be shown for the first time at San Marino Motor Classic on June 14.

“Flying A Garage” – member Aaron Weiss will welcome us to the “Flying A,” one of the most noteworthy collections you may ever have the opportunity to view. Cadillac, Chrysler, Duesenberg, Horch, Marmon, Mercedes-Benz and Rolls-Royce are among the marques you will see in this feast for the eyes.

Jukeboxes, Planes and Automobiles!

Join us on February 21 for our first get together and tour for 2026. We’ll start with a visit to Rock-Ola Manufacturing Co. in Torrance – builder of the iconic Rock-Ola Jukebox. Some of us may fondly remember our teenage years when we spent long weekends with our friends at diners, bowling alleys and dances listening to the latest “Top 40” records on the jukebox.
