Southern California Region Grand Classic, May 28-31, 2026
Optional Activities
Thank you for registering for our 2026 Far West Grand Classic hosted by the Classic Car Club of Southern California. We are offering a few optional activities for Thursday, Friday and Saturday (May 28-30) that you may want to consider. Please review these brief descriptions, make your selections and register for either or both individually. You can add either or both to your cart before making your payment.
Thursday, May 28
Some of our group will gather for an informal, pay-your-own dinner at a charming restaurant in Paso Robles, “The Anderson Paso.” You can review the Anderson menu and make a reservation on the website: www.theandersonpaso.com Mention Classic Car Club in the “Special request” section and the restaurant will do its best to seat us together.
Friday, May 29
We have a full day planned for you that includes scenic roads, Classic cars, a wine tasting, lunch and a welcoming reception at the Allegretto Resort. Our tentative schedule is as follows:
8:45 am gather in the parking lot at the Allegretto Resort; distribute instructions for the day.
9 a.m. departure from the Allegretto Resort to Cambria for the Parr Collective winery and lunch at Cambria Pines lodge.
The scenic 30 mile drive (about 45 minutes) along California State Route 46 travels west through rolling hills, passing many vineyards along the way. We will arrive in Cambria and the lush grounds of the Parr Collective winery where longtime CCCA members Leland and Marissa Powels will display some of the Classics in their collection.
This drive is an easy route to navigate so please consider driving your Classic—it will be right at home among the Powels’ Classics. Lunch at Cambria Pines Lodge will include sandwiches and salads, served buffet style.
Around 1 p.m. we will return route along Highway 46 and enjoy a post-lunch wine tasting at Summerwood Winery & Inn. We will visit the facility and enjoy its latest harvest in the cask room.
We will return to the Allegretto Resort around 3:30 p.m. with time to relax before our Welcoming Reception at 5 p.m. in the Sequoia Library. Light pizza snacks coupled with wine will be served, before you depart for dinner on your own.
The fee for these activities is $80 per person. Dinner that evening is on your own. You might want to make a reservation in advance as there are many popular restaurants here on Friday nights.
